C'era una volta un cacciatore Odumodu che aveva una moglie e due figli. La moglie si chiamava Joana, il primo figlio Tochi, secondogenito Mavix. Odumodu è un grande cacciatore a cui è stato assegnato il titolo di re degli animali. UN giorno Odumodu dovette emigrare dal nord della nazione verso la zona orientale. Poi una potente scimmia decise di sfidarlo, così si fermò e soffiò il corno, quindi la scimmia si mise da parte e lui riuscì a passare. Poi decise di fermarsi ma incontrò un grande serpente che gli chiese, dove stai andando? Non sai che io sono il re di questa foresta? dove eri quando mi hanno dato il titolo di Re della foresta?Quindi soffiò il corno e il serpente corse nella foresta e si nascose dietro un cespuglio. Odumodu decise di andar via da quel posto e iniziò il suo viaggio. Mentre si incamminava con il suo cavallo, vide un elefante che gli corse incontro e gli bloccò la strada. Odumodu iniziò a cantare per far spostare l'elefante dalla sua strada, ma l'elefante si rifiuta dicendo non mi muovo da qui se prima non parlo con te. Nel frattempo un leone uscì dalla foresta e Odumodu dice al leone per favore puoi aiutarmi a cacciare questo elefante dalla mia strada? Il leone rispose di sì e inseguì l'elefante.Poi il leone chiese ad Odumodu perché mi hai chiesto di inseguire l’elefante e tu sei ancora qui? Odumodu rispose perché io sono più potente di te.Poi il leone tenta di attaccarlo e Odumodu tirò fuori il suo "corno" e lo ha soffiato e il leone s’inchinò davanti lui. Allora anche il leone lo nominò “signore della foresta”. Adesso si che Odumodu potè continuare il suo viaggio con piena soddisfazione.

Story of a hunter who live beyond the forest

Once upon a time there was a hunter called Odumodu who has one wife and two kids. The wife name is Joana and the first son Tochi, second son Mavix. Odumodu is a great hunter who own a title of Animal King. Then here come one day Odumodu was travelling from the northern Part of the forest to the easthern part oh the country. Then a mighty monkey decided to fight him so he stopped and blown his horns then the monkey make up it’s way so he passed. Then he decided to stop out as he was stopping out a big mighty snake speak out to him and ask him where are you going? Don’t you know that I am the king of this forest? Answer said the hunter you laying where were you when I was given the title of “Lord of the Animal”.

So he look out his horns and blow it then the snake ran into the forest. then Odumodu started his jorney to the easthern part of the forest. As he was moving with his horse come out a giant elephant ran over his way and block the road he want to pass by. Odumodu started singing for the elephant move out from my way but the elephant refuse to move out from my way before I will dead with you. And the elephant replied to him I’ll deal with you first before you deal with me. Then a big  lion came out from nowhere then Odumodu tell the lion please can you help me chase this elephant on my way? Said by the lion yes after the lion yes after the lion chase the elephant it came back to odumodu, and ask him why did you ask me to chase my follow animal away and you are still here? Odumodu reply because I am great than  you. Then the lion try to attack him, then Odumodu now brought out his “ horn” and blow it then the lion bow-dawn for him and called him the lord of the forest. Then now Odumodu continue his journey successfully.
