Raddusa, 18/11/2020

Ciao Abdoulie,

come stai? Spero bene. Ti scrivo questa lettera perché è da cinque anni che non ci vediamo e vorrei raccontarti delle cose che mi sono successe in questi anni.                                        Quando sono arrivato in Italia sono andato per quattro giorni a Pozzallo, poi per due anni e otto mesi ho vissuto a Gela. Adesso, invece, vivo a Raddusa nello Sprar di Via Regina Margherita.  Raddusa è un piccolo paese della provincia di Catania, in questo paese mi trovo molto bene. Ho alcuni amici e con loro mi diverto, però non ho ancora trovato un amico come te, perché la nostra amicizia è un dono speciale. A te mi rivolgevo quando avevo bisogno di coraggio. Tu mi riempivi la vita di bellezza, di gioia e grazia. Mi rendevi il mondo in cui viviamo un posto migliore e più felice. Questo è tutto quello che tu mi davi  e per questo mi manchi tanto. Però adesso voglio parlarti di quello che faccio e ho fatto a Raddusa.Ho frequentato il CPIA di Catania con sede a Ramacca per prendere la licenza media. Ogni giorno andavo a scuola a Ramacca, però quando adesso le scuole hanno chiuso per il problema del corona-virus, abbiamo dovuto seguire le lezioni on-line. Ho superatp l’esame con votazione 7. Allo Sprar abbiamo fatto tante attività di integrazione e tanti laboratori, quello che mi è piaciuto di più è stato quello di “ Aiutante istruttore fitness”. Il tutor si chiama Simone e ci ha insegnato come fare gli esercizi in modo corretto, come utilizzare i pesi e altri attrezzi della palestra, ci ha insegnato quali sono i muscoli interessati durante gli esercizi. Alla fine del corso ho ottenuto un attestato di frequenza.                                                                                                                                  In futuro, mi piacerebbe molto lavorare in un supermercato perché mi piace incontrare tanta gente, sistemare i prodotti negli scaffali, lavorare in magazzino per controllare la merce e conoscere i vari prodotti italiani e stranieri. Spero di poterti incontrare presto per poterti raccontare di presenza questi cinque anni vissuti lontani dall’Africa. Spero che tutti i miei sogni possano realizzarsi.

How are you? I hope so. I've been writing this letter to you because we haven't seen each other for five years and I'd like to tell you about the things that have happened to me over the years.              When I arrived in Italy I went for four days to Pozzallo, then for two years and eight months I lived in Gela. Now, instead, I live in Raddusa in the Sprar of Via Regina Margherita.  Raddusa is a small town in the province of Catania, in this country I feel very good. I have some friends and I have fun with them, but I have not yet found a friend like you, because our friendship is a special gift. I would turn to you when I needed courage.                                                                                                      You filled my life with beauty, joy and grace. You made me the world we live in a better and happier place. That's all you gave me, and that's why I miss you so much. But now I want to talk to you about what I'm doing, and I did it in Raddusa. I attended the CPIA of Catania based in Ramacca to take the media license. Every day I went to school in Ramacca, but when schools have now closed due to the corona-virus problem, we had to take the lessons online. I passed the exam with a vote of 7.                                                                                                                                                At Sprar we did many integration activities and many workshops, what I liked the most was that of "Fitness Instructor Helper". The tutor is called Simone and taught us how to do the exercises correctly, how to use weights and other gym tools, taught us which muscles are affected during the exercises. At the end of the course I obtained a certificate of attendance.                                          In the future, I would love to work in a supermarket because I like to meet many people, place products on shelves, work in stock to control the goods and learn about the various Italian and foreign products. I hope to be able to meet you soon so that I can tell you about these five years lived far from Africa. I hope all my dreams come true.
